All Train Trak wines are produced from hand pruned and hand picked fruit from our Yarra Glen vineyard, with emphasis on low cropping levels. From the racy Rosé, the refined and elegant Chardonnay and sparkling Pinot Noir Chardonnay, the seductive Pinot Noir to the smooth Shiraz and the rich Cabernet Sauvignon, Train Trak wines display intense varietal flavour and elegance.

This Chardonnay shows aromas of grapefruit and lemon. The palate is smooth and rounded, with fruit weight of lime and a lovely integration of French oak. Excellent texture and lengthy citrus finish. Produced at low cropping levels, fermented in French oak (49% new Damy and Gillet) for nine months.

This unwooded and fruity Chardonnay displays lifted apple and lemon fruit aromas with meringue notes. The lively palate shows an outstanding array of fresh citrus flavous with a clean crisp finish. All grapes sourced from our Yarra Glen vineyard. No oak or finings were used in making this wine. A well-balanced, light style.

This wine, produced from Alpine and King Valley grapes, shows aromas of passion fruit and gooseberry with refreshing citrus hints. The palate has added complexity, with tones of butter. The winemaking has been tailored specifically to preserve the fresh fruity flavours, hallmark of the variety.
Train Trak Sojourn Rose' 2008
From 66% Cabernet Sauvignon and 34% Shiraz grapes from our Yarra Glen vineyard, this Rose' exhibits fresh pure fruit. The lifted floral aromas of berry fruit and liquorice lead to a palate of succulent juicy berries, ending with a soft finish. No oak or finings were used in making this wine.

Bright crimson with purple hues, the wine shows aromas of berry fruit leading to a full bodied palate. Blackcurrant notes upfront end with great length and fine grain tannins. Produced at low cropping levels, matured in French barriques (30% new) for eight months, then in older barriques for further six months before final blending. Rich and earthy.

Rich red with purple hues, this wine displays aromas of blackberry and ripe plums. The palate is finely structured, with black jube flavours. Lingering fine grain tannins are well balanced and supported by soft oak nuances. Produced at moderate cropping levels, matured in French barriques (33% new) for eleven months. No finings were used in making this wine. Lush and smooth.

A medium bodied wine produced from 55% of Cabernet Sauvignon and 45% of Shiraz from our Yarra Glen vineyard. Lifted cherry notes and spicy flavours are supported by well round tannins. Produced at low cropping levels and matured in French and American barriques for twenty months.
Train Trak Sojourn Shiraz-Viognier 2009

This unique wine, a blend of 95% Shiraz and 5% Viognier from Central Victoria, takes inspiration from the traditional winemaking of the Rhone valley, where the two varieties are picked and fermented together producing higher quality results. Deep berry notes and a smooth, long finish.
